How to Lock with www.digitallocker.com Digital Locker?

We need to have the Aadhaar number and mobile number to register with DigiLocker. Please follow the steps below to register online.

1) Visit the DigiLocker website www.digitallocker.com home page

2) Click on the Register Now link.

3) We will be redirected to https://digitallocker.gov.in/Register.aspx page once we clicked on the register link. After getting the username and password after the registration process, we can use https://digitallocker.gov.in/signin.aspx URL for sign in.

4) We are now on the page Register for a DigiLocker Account - enter our 12 digit Aadhaar number and then click on Use OTP or Use Fingerprint.

5) Use Aadhaar Registered Mobile Number – Select "Use OTP"

We will get a one time password (OTP) in our mobile number associated with the Aadhaar registration. Enter this OTP and then click on Validate OTP button. 

6) Then create a username and password.

7) Use Fingerprint for Authentication – Select "Use Fingerprint"

We need to scan the fingerprint. 

8) After successful registration, we will be redirected to My Certificates page.

9) Use this https://digitallocker.gov.in/Register.aspx to register directly or https://digitallocker.gov.in/signin.aspx to sign in directly.

10) Users can login with 3 options in DigiLocker.

Aadhaar Number and the OTP, User name and Password provided during Account Creation and Google or Facebook id validation.

11) To upload our documents and certificates; we need to click on the Upload Documents button in the dashboard.
